MIAMI, FL., --April 22, 2014-- Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that it has delivered the second of three B737-400SF 11 Pallet freighters to Yangtze River Express of Shanghai.
The second freighter to deliver is a standard gross weight B737-400SF (MSN 29914) built in1998 and was converted at Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Shanghai facility, which is one of five authorized AEI Conversion Centers worldwide. This is AEI’s 7th of the anticipated 30+ freighters to be delivered in 2014.
Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, stated that “Yangtze River Express selected the AEI B737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration conversion because of its industry leading payload and volume capability. With the ability to carry 10 full height containers in P1-10 plus a hal fULD in position P11, the AEI B737-400SF will allow Yangtze River Express to meet the volumetric requirements of their customers.”
AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration shall provide Yangtze River Express with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying multiple ULD’s including:
- (10) 88”x125” AAA Containers/pallets, P1 to P10 or
- (8) 96”x126” ULD’s and
- (1) 53”X88”X64” Pallet or AEP/AEH or 60.4”X61.5” AKE/LD3 or 61.5”X88”X56”H AYY in P11
