(March 01, 2008) Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd (Boeing Shanghai) completed its first CAAC approved maintenance. The routine check of a 737 airplane for Shanghai Airlines is the official launch of Boeing Shanghai's services.
In January 2008, Boeing Shanghai began construction on its Phase I Hangar, which is to be completed in April next year.
Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd. was established in June 2006. Boeing Shanghai is a join venture, capturing development opportunities based on the best of Boeing Company, Shanghai Airport Authorities and Shanghai Airlines, its three partners.
