SHANGHAI, Dec. 5, 2017 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., (Boeing Shanghai) today announced the completion of the first Next-Generation 737-800 Wi-Fi installation in China at Boeing Shanghai’s hangar at Shanghai Pudong Airport, under a Wi-Fi modification agreement with 9 Air.
The relationship with 9 Air broadens Boeing Shanghai’s position in the Chinese market for Next Generation 737 connectivity modifications. The modification work was conducted with a Supplemental Type Certificate held by GEE.
