SHANGHAI, Oct.11, 2016 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., (Boeing Shanghai) today announced the completion of work on an Aeromexico 787 Dreamliner. This is the first of three Aeromexico Dreamliners that will be maintained at the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility under a new maintenance agreement with the airline.
Boeing Shanghai is conducting C-checks, an extensive check of the airplane's systems and components, along with Wi-Fi and cabin modifications on the Aeromexico 787s at its Shanghai Pudong International Airport facility. The full scope of work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Because of that, we have chosen Boeing Shanghai as our preferred full-service MRO provider. It is a good start to our future cooperation,” said Jorge Jacome, Aeromexico Corporate SVP Maintenance & Engineering.
The Aeromexico contract marks the expansion of Boeing Shanghai’s 787 maintenance services into the Latin American market.

Established in 1934, Aeromexico is the flag carrier airline of Mexico based in Mexico City. It operates more than 600 flights daily and its route network spans 86 destinations on four continents. Currently, the airline operates 53 Next-Generation 737s, four 777-200ERs and nine 787-8s.
Boeing Shanghai is a joint venture between Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and China Eastern Airlines. Boeing Shanghai is a full service MRO facility and offers a broad range of services from engineering, aircraft maintenance and modification to material management and component repair and overhaul.
