Boeing Shanghai Signs Maintenance Agreement with Transaero Airlines

Brief View: Serve 100 percent of Russian Boeing 767 operators

SHANGHAI, March 18, 2015 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., (Boeing Shanghai) today announced the signing of a maintenance agreement with Russian-based Transaero Airlines for its Boeing 767 fleet. With this contract, Boeing Shanghai has secured ‎100 percent of Russian 767 operators as heavy maintenance customers.

The first Transaero 767 was inducted for C-check in late January followed by another airplane nose-‎to-tail in Boeing Shanghai’s facilities at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. A C-check is an extensive check of the airplane's systems and components that can require several days to perform.
