Trainee Training Program:
In order to better guide trainees on their first career step, Boeing Shanghai has customized a high-quality trainee training program according to the requirements of CAAC, the company's quality system and employee competency module. The program includes two parts: New Employee Orientation and Technical Training.
New Employee Orientation introduces Boeing Shanghai's corporate values and culture, performance management system, Code of Conduct, policies and business operations. The orientation opens a window for the trainees to take a close-up look at the company. Moreover, the very function that the trainees work for would assign a mentor to the trainees to help adapt to the new environment more quickly.
Technical training includes theory, practical training and on-the-job training.
• The theoretical course includes Aircraft GEN FAM, Human Factors, Maintenance English, Maintenance Skills Series, Calibration, Maintenance Manual, Job Cards and Boeing Blueprints, Quality Management, etc.
• The practical training is divided into ME, AV and STR series of courses. The trainee will acquire basic maintenance skills, including use of tools and maintenance working package.
• On-the-job training is of the most important part of the whole program. Under the supervision of senior maintenance technicians, the trainees will apply their learning into real aircraft maintenance practice in line, heavy maintenance, and modification departments. This period of experience should be regarded as the basis of their further career development.
Continuous Development Program:
The continuous improvement of employees' capability is the prerequisite for a company's success. As a newly established MRO company, Boeing Shanghai starts to build and perfect its training & development system since its setting up period, based on which, the company will develop its own technical and management team.
The training system includes the following programs:
Maintenance training:
• CAAC 66 basic license
• Overseas aircraft maintenance personnel license (eg. FAA license)
• Aircraft type I and II of different aircraft types
• Engine run-up test, borescope training
• Maintenance & modification techniques training
Business knowledge and competence training:

• Instructor's training
